Decided to come in here for dessert and a drink last night after dinner and the service was quite disappointing. Waitress took a while to attend to us and we ended up waiting about 20 mins for a Chocolate Molten cake that wasn't even that good - highly unimpressed!

I had a takeaway from there a couple of weeks ago. Was a little slow coming out (took around 40 mins) but the food was all fairly good. Portions are a little smaller than I would have expected, but not unreasonably so. Staff were very friendly, and the prices are reasonable - can't remember exactly but got something like four starters, three mains, naan, rice and four cans of coke and got change for $500.

Yes they deliver - Minimum order $200 and I've heard it's best to allow plenty of time for delivery.

Ordered delivery from Mirch Masala last night:
We were encouraged to be told that it would take 30 minutes to arrive, in fact it took 50 which we agreed was a much more realistic time frame!
We ordered the dinner for 2 which in fairness gives you a good amount of food but I would make a number of comments.
-The portion of rice was very small, I would normally expect more rice for just myself, let alone 2 people.
-Although Naan (or an alternative choice of Onion Bread) comes with the set, I ordered more Garlic Naan as well, and this was a good thing as again the portions are on the light side also.
-They do give you quite a wide selection of items and it was considerably cheaper than if we ordered a la carte, but one should be aware that if you like to eat a lot, and like the fillers such as rice and bread, I would order additional.
On food quality we were quite happy. The chicken curry (type not specified) was a little bland but nice enough. The Chicken Tikka was succulent and flavorful, and came with (a little bit of) very nicely marinated onions. Samosas were nice also, accompanied with mint sauce. The Alloo Gobhi (apologies for spelling) mixed curried vegetables were nicely balanced. The Lamb Kebab sausage (can't remember the name) was a little dry. The plain Naan, and additional Garlic Naan hit the spot, and we ordered additional Poppadoms which were very nice, but a very small portion!
Overall as a different delivery option in Discovery Bay we enjoyed it a lot, even though with the extras it worked out a shade under $300. We will definitely be ordering again in the future.

A renovation or moving experience second to none at affordable prices!
We used Stewart Movers and Renovations to assist with moving house 2 weeks ago. At our request, they delivered boxes to our apartment a week in advance and my partner and I packed everything up ourselves (as it was more convenient for us this way). On moving day the guys arrived promptly one hour before the truck arrived, were very hard working and managed to get everything downstairs, on to the truck, off the truck, and up to the new flat, in very good time - allowing us to enjoy the rest of our Saturday.
All in all they were perfect for our needs, and offered very good value for money also.

Had lunch here on Sunday..
-Clam chowder was so so. A little watery for my liking
-The fish & chips were good. Very generous portion of nicely battered fish
-The mrs had a cobb salad which she thoroughly enjoyed
-Friendly service
FYI - they are offering 30% off if you pay with an HSBC credit card, which makes it very good value for money.

Amazing food here! One of the best Thai places in Hong Kong hands down. They do an awesome Penang Curry (and if you've got the hook up you can get it with Duck!).
The fish cakes and prawn cakes are really good as well, got to remember to douse them in their delicious hot fish sauce to get that extra kick. We also had a stewed Pork curry, can't remember the name of it but I have never had anything like it! The meat was so tender and flavoured perfectly.
Can't wait to come back soon for another great meal. =)

The best restaurant in DB, and one of the best Thais I've had in Hong Kong. Excellent value for money, and generally very good service.
Nice decor inside, and excellently positioned seating outside with a view across the bay. I have been fortunate enough to have dined there twice when DBay had organised a live jazz band on the promenade to entertain diners. Wonderful evening.
Most dishes are generally very good and I would rate the following dishes as excellent - Pork neck, pad thai, Panaeng Curry (I usually ask them to make it with roast duck, not on the menu), prawns with fried basil and garlic, spicy beef salad with lettuce leaves. Wash it down with a crisp Singha beer served in a frozen glass - a nice touch.
Can get very busy, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night, so ensure to book in advance so as not to be disappointed.

I've been once. Had the catch of the day which was an expertly cooked piece of mackerel. The extras are a bit on the pricey side though for what they are. Overall I was left with a good impression.
